Your voice, only with your say-so

How My voice works, and the rules we built around it.

Hearing your own song in your own voice is a strange and wonderful thing. It’s also something that has to be done carefully, because a voice is part of who you are.

How it works

My voice starts with a consent phrase. You read it out loud, live, in the app, and then record a few lines. We check that the voice singing is the same voice that read the phrase. Only then can Midhull sing your songs in your voice.

Only your own

You can’t set up a voice for someone else: not a friend, not a partner, not a singer you admire. Midhull doesn’t copy the voice, name or style of real artists, and prompts steer by genre, era, mood and instruments instead.

Yours to remove

Your voice is used for your songs. Remove it whenever you like, and it stops being used.

We think the best songs on Midhull will be the ones only you could have made. Your voice should be one of the things that makes them yours, and only yours.
