Every song gets a cover of its own
No two Midhull songs look the same. Each cover is made for one song from a real photograph, a typeface, a layout and a grade, and the app takes its colour from it.
How a cover is made
-
The song decides the direction
Genre, mood, occasion and culture choose one of our art directions: love, rock, jazz, rap, Afrobeats, city pop, desi wedding, birthday, lullaby and more.
-
A real photograph
We pick a photo from our own licensed library of work by photographers on Pexels, matched to the song’s words and mood.
-
Type, layout and grade
The title is set in a face chosen for the direction and the script, in Latin, Japanese, Korean or Devanagari. Then the layout, the tint, the crop and the grain.
-
One of one
The same song always gets the same cover, and a different song gets a different one.
Real covers from the engine
Photographs, not generated pictures
We don’t generate images for covers. Every cover starts from a photograph taken by a real person, and every photographer is credited.

When someone answers
An answered song becomes a split cover: the original on one side, the answer on the other, each with its own type and grade.
Ready for every screen
Square for players, 4:5 for feeds and 9:16 for stories and lyric videos.
Use your own photo
Prefer a picture of your own? Use it, and we set the title and grade around it.
