Music is personal. These are the rules Midhull is built on, so your voice, your songs and the artists you love are respected.
Your own voice, and only yours
Midhull can learn your singing voice only after you read a consent phrase out loud, live, in the app. We check that the voice on the recording is the one reading the phrase. You can’t build a voice from anyone else, and you can remove yours whenever you like.
No imitation of real artists
Midhull doesn’t copy the voice, name or style of real artists. Describe the sound you want instead: the mood, the era, the instruments, the energy. That’s what we use to shape your song.
Sampling rules
Sample it works with sounds that are cleared for it.
Your own recordings, made in the app
Midhull community songs, credited through the remix tree, unless the creator opts out
Sample packs made by Midhull
Commercial and third party recordings can’t be sampled. Every upload is checked against copyrighted music.
Reporting and moderation
Every song, comment and profile has a report option, and you can block anyone. Reports are reviewed by people on our team, and the person reported is never told who reported them. If you think we got a decision wrong, appeal from the app and a person takes a fresh look.
Lyrics with care
Lyrics are checked before they’re sung and before songs appear in public places like the feed, charts and challenges.
Younger creators
Younger creators get an age-appropriate mode, and their songs start private.
Your songs, your rights
Personal use on every plan, full terms at launch. Share your songs, give them as gifts and post them on your own channels. Anything beyond personal use is set out in the full terms, and each song carries a rights card in plain words.
Honest about how songs are made
When you send or share a song, the people who hear it can see it was made with Midhull, an AI music studio.
Report a rights issue
If you believe something on Midhull uses your work or your voice without permission, write to copyright@midhull.com. We review every notice.
